One contemporary player I like is Tony Z [the Z is short for Zamagni].He's
got at least a couple of albums on Tone-Cool:"Get Down with the Blues" and
"Kiss My Blues."I like "Get Down with the Blues" better,but both are good
and feature fine musicians like Bernard Purdie,Cornel Dupree,Houston
Person,and others.And oh yeah,Sugar Blue plays on "Get Down..." and Kim
Wilson plays on "Kiss My Blues."
