Also in regard to Vern's post, the person that he quoted was quoting me. My
question was not about how to tell minor keys while looking at a chart - I
think we all can tell from the chords - but how to signal a minor key using
the key signaling technique mentioned in still another post. And by the way,
minor blues are not that uncommon and often played in 3rd, 4th or 5th
position on a diatonic or 3rd position on a chromatic.
