Richard Sleigh's SPAH Trip via Amtrak

I have just been advised that Richard Sleigh has bumped his date of
departure by one day, now leaving Altoona, PA on August 18, rather than
the 17th.

The exact schedule is as follows:

Train #41 from Altoona on 08/18/03 - 7:05pm, arriving in Chicago on
08/19/03 - 7:45am  

(Total of 11 hours, 40 minutes, considering one-hour time zone change) 

Train #21 from Chicago on 08/19/03 - 3:20pm, arriving in Dallas on
08/20/03 - 1:35pm  

(Total of 22 hours, 15 minutes - no time zone change)
  
James Conway will be included from Chicago to Dallas and return. Hope
others will take advantage of this opportunity to hang, jam, and just
have a great time before and after SPAH!

The return trip schedule remains unchanged as follows:

Train #22 from Dallas on 08/24/03 - 4:30pm, arriving in Chicago on
08/25/03 - 2:25pm 
  
(Total of 21 hours, 55 minutes - no time zone change)

Train #40 from Chicago on 08/25/03 - 10:30pm, arriving in Altoona on
08/26/03 - 12:38pm 

(Total of 13 hours, 8 minutes, considering one-hour time zone change)

For those who can join them, it sounds like a fantastic way to start
early, and continue after. And a great chance to bone up on Cannonball
Express, Orange Blossom Special, Night Train, etc, etc. Yeah, right!
