Cowboy singing star Ken Maynard was born on this day in 1895.  Maynard was
one of the singing cowboys who were popular in the 1930's.  Besides singing
Maynard also played guitar and harmonica.

Country / Gospel singer-songwriter, guitar and harmonica player Brother
Claude Ely was born on this day in 1922.  Ely learned to play the harmonica
to help him while recovering from a bout of tuberulosis.  He dedicated the
rest of his life to playing Gospel music.
