i think "ignore" is a pretty over the top. does he appear at singer
conventions? songwriter conventions? piano and synth conventions? these are all
things for which he is more widely known. i would suggest that it's just another
musical device at his disposal and in many ways, his harp playing is more
important to harp players than to him.
i love his harp playing. i think he has one of the most distinctive harp
styles ever...in fact, he's the only chrom player i would be able to pick out of
a bunch of samples. but i don't think he owes the harp community anything.
