I've actually tried one, but these mics are WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY too hot =
for harp, to the point that if you can the amp on 1 without feeding =
back, it's damned near a miracle, and it's dirty to the point of =
overcompression. For many years though, these were the standard for =
CB/Ham Radios for decades.

That's a special edition D-104. There were some recent posts on
them. I've never tried one for harmonica.

Today I can across some Astatic Silver eagles Mics in a huge junk =
semi good store.
They are Ham mics I believe ..They are what might be called a =
biscuit mic. Does anyone out there know if they would be a good =
Harmonica Mic or element .. It seemed to fit the hand ok ..Sort of like =
holding a hockey Puck ,,but a little smaller.
