Hi Hambone,
As far as I'm concerned, the main reason is that they're WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY
too hot for 99% of the amplifiers that have ever been non the market. In
fact, it is so hot, if you could turn the amp on without feeding back on 1
or 2 is an absolute miracle. Also, the cartridge won't fit oin a JT30 or GB
shell.
