Question bout Sonny/Sonny Boy Terry

Is Sonny Boy Terry, the Texas recording artist, actually Gary "Sonny Jr" 
Onofrio?  He looks a bit like him in the pictures I've seen (his CD ads in 
Blues Revue), but of course we only see half his face ; ) so I'm not sure.
