i agree with him on this one. i hadn't tried it myself
before i read scorcher's post, but it does sound like
Kim is using an A harp and is actually playing not
just 3 draw, but 2 and 1 draw as well. 
he kind of has to, really, to be able to resolve the
riffs the way he does. i think he just misspoke (well,
he obviously misspoke: he says he's playing "all one
NOTE").
anyway... sorry to mislead you all. regardless of
that, the exercise is a good one. what kim does on
that 3 draw -- the smooth shifting from one note to
another in the same hole, the precise jump to the
3draw, 2nd halfstep (i could be wrong about which
half-step that is...) after playing the 1 draw -- even
just the tone he gets from that 3rd hole -- all are
worth learning. and you know, if Kim Wilson thinks
it's tough, you'd better get started on it!! ;)
