My brother in law, Mark Frasier, builds them. He built one for me and it
definitely enhanced the bottom end and volume out of an astatic mic. I'll
be glad to forward his email to you off line if you are interested. He
builds them for about $30 apiece. Here are some pictures of some stuff that
he has built including the mic buffer
