Re: reed replacement

Hi Bullfrog;
If you're killing certain reeds on a chromatic, it's likely that it's more
to do with your technique. Do you notice that these reeds have a more
"strained" sound than the others when you play them?

Subject: reed replacement

I have a chromatic Super X, that seems to flatten reeds as fast as I used to
flatten six-pack cartons. I think it's time to learn about replacement.
Can anyone give me links as to learning this, and how to tune the reed.
It's getting too expensive to send this critter off every time. Thanks in
advance.  Bullfrog
