Try expelling air through the 3 blow when you're sitting on the 1 chord, and
also by alternating 2 draw and blow for shuffles and stuff. You can also get
rid of air on the IV chord by doing John Lee Williamson style chording on
the 4 blow (tongue slaps where you play 1,2,3,4 briefly and cut of 1,2,3 and
hit the 4 blow with a tongue block).
It helps to listen to some of the great guys comp behind guitar solos on
live albums - like Wilson and Estrin.
