I have two mics that I have added small volume controls with a switch and a
1/4" jack. One is a JT30, the other was a stand microphone that I cut off
the stand and that I installed a Astatic crystal element in.

I've got a Green Bullet (Shur Model #520D) but it
doesn't have a volume control. Seems like you could
either drill out the stand mount and put in a volume
control or splice something in line. Has anyone done
that or have recommendations on how to go about it?
Or is it just a dumb idea and not worth the trouble?
