Hi Everyone,
I am about to begin my 3rd semester of teaching the blues harp classes at
the New School University in New York City.
The first class is on Thursday, February 6th. The classes are limited to 6
students and will likely be filled, but there are a few openings at this
time.
I am honored to be following in the foot steps of Adam Gussow, and the late
Bob Shatkin, both of whom taught the class for many years.
There is a long standing tradition of instruction in traditional blues
styles at the New School, however I have added to this what I have learned
from Howard Levy, about utilizing the modes of the major scale and of
course, overblows!
Regards,
Bob Meehan
