A few Hertz can be a very big or a very small difference, depending on
what range you're in. The difference between 50 Hz and 51 Hz is about
34 cents (a third of a semitone). However, the difference between 5000
Hz and 5001 Hz is considerably less than 1 cent.
On a semi-related topic, didn't you once claim that to your ears, the
tuning of the Lee Oskar sounded closer to Just Intonation than to
Equal Temperament?
