I think I sent this offering to the list a year ago when the
bending thread was at its' peak but since I didn't receive
the anticipated kudos for my cleverness,  I assume it
never went through. so....

An old Western lawman named Earp,
At the risk of appearing a twerp,
     Said "Please tell me why is it,
     Though my 3 draws exquisite,
When I bend it it sounds like a burp?"

We haven't any good limericks on the List lately.
But then, someone said "There are no good
limericks."  

By the way, I'm glad you're back, Gus.  Didn't you
know that you're my hero.
