That is true, but the question was tone and the Vintage 30 is available in a 
10" as well (Vintage 10) which captures the same characteristics (same 
RMS/Peak, Response and even voice coil diameter) supposedly.   According to 
the literature the Vintage 10 "is a smaller version of the world renown 
Vintage 30, with it's classic warm tones".
