       Bob,when you refer to the first gain stage,is that the tube farthest 
to the right looking at the back of the amp,or the tube closest to the power 
tubes?And you mentioned those 5881's going for big bucks.Assuming they are 
the best ones you mentioned made by raytheon,how much would I expect to pay 
for a pair of NOS tubes?Absolutely new unused never taken out of the box
