Hi Brian,

of course it's possible; and the reeds don't need to be thinner or
smaller.

Hohner once made the (small) Piccolo in the key of A high or the
Orchester III (double octave tuned) with this high range, and IIRC they
made also MBs or SP 20s in this key, nowadays high G is still available.

What I know for sure: the Seydel Favorit is available in all keys from
low D up to high A.

It's easier to build those harps than to play them well in the higher
octave IMHO.
