Chord harmonica player Bob Bauer was born on this day in 1937. Bob played
with The Harmonikings from 1959 through the late 1960's and then took over
Al Fiore's place in the Harmonicats in 1982. He played with the harmonicats
until Jerry Murad's death and even played a few reunion shows with his son
Chris playing the chromatic.

Blues harmonica player Charlie Sayles was born on this day in 1948. Sayles
began working as a street musician after serving in Viet Nam. He's recorded
several albums of his music as well as writing a book on how to play the
instrument.

Alternative rocker Benjamin Darvill was born on this day in 1967. Darvill
has been playing mandolin and harmonica in the group Crash Test Dummies
