recording
I've been in the studio all day and stumbled on to a microphone I really
like. An Audio Technica 4047. It's the sound of harmonica I hear in my
head only with this mic it ends up on tape. Anyone else have any
experience with these or anything else you've really liked for acoustic
recording? I'm tempted to buy one and try it out for gigs but I'm
afraid feedback could be an issue. I think it's a large diaphragm
condenser and an omni but I haven't researched that yet. Really great
sounding microphone. It gave me back my range of tone, expression and
dynamics. It'll bite you if you don't get the tone out of the harmonica
but it certainly rewards you when you do. fjm
