the guy doesn't say how experienced he is on harp. in the key of g on either
a c harp (second), g harp (first), or d harp (twelfth), you will need the
second bend in draw-3, assuming you're playing on the low end of the harp.
the signature riff, if i'm remembering it right, is essentially the pentonic
major scale we recently discussed here (gabde), although a c- note pops in at
one point. personally, i like second position, because when you do the bend
(the a- note), you're kind of just passing through it...it flows very well.
if you play it on the middle of the harp, there are no bends required for
second or first position, but you would need a hole 6 overblow in twelfth
position. again, i think it sounds and flows better in second position.
