US President Abraham Lincoln was born on this day in 1809.  Lincoln secured
his place in history by being the first president to play the harmonica.  Go
Abe!!!

Jazz harmonica player Max geldray was born on this day in 1916.   Geldray
began playing the harmonica in the mid-1930's and is best remebered for hisd
musical contributions to the BBC's "Goon Show" during the 1950's.

Blues harmonica player Big John Wrencher was born on this day in 1923.
Wrencher taught himself how to play the harmonica while growing up in
Mississippi.  He settled in Chicago in 1962 and became a part of the city's
Blues scene until his death in 1977.
