MK replacement plates

First: Please?! This is NOT a log to throw on the
~Materials~ debate fire. I am simply curious [and it
effects my wallet]: 

When it comes to the MS Meisterklasse: Does anyone
hear a difference [or, has anyone ~listened~ for a
difference] between using the non-nickled ~crossharp~
[1.05mm] replacement plates, and using the more
expensive nickled [also 1.05mm] MK replacement plates?
