I had a pro jr and can say from personal experience the mesa boogie subway blues with a few tube mods is a great amp. I have alnico speakers wich added weight and price bit mesa is a step above all others in amps at the moment, check out ebay or a local guirtar shop tp see id=f any are in stock since they are no longer made but for 300 bucks you can not beat it.
