Who is Dale Spalding?

OK Harp-lers,

I know that someone has to know the name Dale Spalding.  I just picked up the new Poncho Sanchez, "Out of Sight".  This is a very cool CD.  It has Poncho's band with a bunch of sguests on it such as Billy Preston, Ray Charles Sam Moore etc. On one of the songs, Mary Ann, he has a harmonica player named Dale Spalding playing some sweet stuff.  Does anyone know who he is??
