The real object is to learn how to play with the tense sound, but remain
relaxed. Sort of like Michael Jordan jumping 6 feet in the air, staying
there for 2 seconds and remaining totally relaxed.
To achieve this one must get more tense at first, play with more power and
get on top of your sound quicker on each note; pretty soon you will find
with practice that you can do this and remain relaxed. Then you climb the
ladder by getting even more power by getting tense again and learning at
this new level how to relax. You will get faster and faster and getting on
top of this sound so that even in very fast passages you can play with
power.
So then you up the level again! This process will end only when you die.
Harmonically yours,
