"The Hands" Benefit for the Home of Phil Wiggins

Buzz here:

I've posted two songs to my SongRamp site in support of:

"The Hands" Benefit for the Home of Phil Wiggins
www.cafeshops.com/philwiggins

The songs are:

Home (The Carpenter's Song) ... which is a Piedmont blues that I've always
thought of as a Cephas and Wiggins tune since I wrote it.

The Cornbread Jinx ... that is a comic, country blues I wrote with Phil in
2000.

Which you can find, along with an interview I did with Phil about how he
started with blues music and harmonica, at:

I've been fortunate enough to be able to meet and learn from the person who
made me want to play music in the first place, so after Phil and his wife
Judy's home was destroyed by a natural event over the summer ... I'm happy
to "lend my hand."

In case you didn't know ... Phil is left handed, I'm right handed and if you
check out the site and you just might be able to find your new favorite
t-shirt in this YEAR OF THE BLUES. I could talk about Phil Wiggins forever,
but would really appreciate it if you could help spread the word on this.
Signed 8 x 10 prints of the image are also available by sending a $30
donation to:

Phil Wiggins
PO Box 5383
Takoma Park, MD 20913

Let me know what you think about the tunes at Songramp and many thanks to
all of you who helped to spread the word about:
