That's actually a good idea putting the harps on the amp. I'm getting tired
of bending
down for harp changes all the time.


The one reason I tend to put my chromatic harmonicas on top of my regular amp 
(Fender Blues DeLuxe) is that the heat from the amplifier keeps the harps 
nice and warm, and reduces the dreaded "valve stick"... Sometimes called 
"windsaver stick"...
It works too, more often than not!
