I must respectfully disagree with your viewpoint about instrumental 
harmonica music. Perhaps in the blues genre your point is valid. By it's 
very structure and nature, traditional blues can become pretty repetitive if 
there aren't some catchy lyrics to hold the listener's attention throughout 
an album.

In many genres the harmonica can stand alone as a solo instrument and rival 
more traditional instrumental stars like the  trumpet, sax, and clarinet.

Instrumental harmonica music rocketed our instrument to the top of the 
charts with "Peg O' My Heart" and harmonica bands remain one of the best 
musical experiences to be had today.

Having logged over 217,000 qualified plays at MP3.com with nothing but 
instrumental harmonica songs since October, 2001, I must conclude that there 
is an audience for music without lyrics.
