well,   when i writes a blues song...the whole damn thing...90 % of it or
so...just comes to me fully formed and i write it down as fast as i can
before i forget it...then i play the basic rhythm and hook into a tiny
dictaphone in my dressing room , again, so's it don't evade me.....   a lot
of the time i wake up  from sleeping  and write it down.  sometimes i just
blow it off.

if i wasn't a blues musician, i guess it'd probably be poetry
