Blues multi-instrumentalist Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown was born on this day
in 1924. Brown began playing music when he was in his teens and picked up
the harmonica along the way, occassionally playing it amongst all his other
musical talents.

Blues mandolin and harmonica player Johnny young died on this day in 1974.
Young was a mainstay in the Chicago Blues scene during the 1950's and 60's
and remained fairly active until his death.
