Harp Commander Questions

I am considering buying a Harp Commander but would
like to get some feedback before I talk the plunge,
since it's a pricey item. I've heard lots of great
things said about it and also have the ability to try
it out with a harp player who lives near me.

I play though a Fender Blues Junior at smaller gigs
and the Fender Bassman 59 RI for the larger venues. I
love both amps and plan to continue using them. I used
to play all the bullet style mics but now I play the
Harmonica Honker of the Shure 545SD. For harps, I use
some Tim Northcutt Special 20's and use the LO for
minor key tunes play with a blues band I play with.  I
also play with a folk trio, play mostly 1st position
on Suzuki Overdrive harps in this setting which is
very Peter, Paul and Mary-ish. I usually will use a DI
box to split my sound through the PA yet maintain
control of my amp settings independent of the PA. I
occasionally will play straight into the PA with an
SM57 or equivalent vocal mic.

My questions are....has anyone used the HC with a
similar configuration? Can I really expect to hear a
noticeable difference in the color and timbre, i.e. a
browner or creamier sound using the HC? What can I
expect to gain since I am happy with both my amps, yet
hate lugging all this stuff with me.
