Key of C third position blues scale

Do you feel like working on your bends or would you like the easy version?

The C blues scale is

C, Eb, F, Gb, G, Bb and sometimes Cb which is the same as B most of the
time.

Third position would be a Bb harp

Start with the 4th hole draw

4d=C 5d=Eb 6b=F 6d=G 7b=Bb *d=C 9b=F 9d=Eb 10b=Bb and 10d=G

You can bend the 4d and the 6d for blue notes.

If you want some of the lower notes

1b=Bb 1d=C 2dd=Eb 3b=F and 3dd=G

With those notes the G is the hardest. It's eay to bend too far and get a
Gb. But Gb is a valid note in the C blues scale so don't sweat it. Just tune
up your ear so you know when it's flat.

It looks simple, but it does take a little time to make it musical and get
comfortable with it. Very fun to play with. It's a nice change in a practice
routine.
