Blues singer, guitar and harmonica player John Brim was born on this day in
1922. Brim learned to play the harmonica while growing up in Kentucky. He
moved to Chicago in 1945 and during his career he's worked with Jimmy Reed,
Muddy Waters and others.

New Orleans Blues singer and harmonica player J. Monque'd was born on this
day in 1946. He's been playing the harmonica since the age of four and has
been playing in the clubs of New Orleans since he was a teenager. he was
inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 1999.
Christian Contemporary guitar and harmonica player Darrell Mansfield was
born on this day in 1950. Darrell began playing music after a chance
meeting with Paul McCartney in the late 1960's. He turned to Christian
music after a series of personal misfortunes and has since released quite a
number of albums.
Classical composer Arthur Benjamin died on this day in 1960. Benjamin wrote
"Concerto For Harmonica And Orchestra" in 1953 for Larry Adler.
