RE:shipping a large amp

I have shipped or received Bassman RI amps by UPS four times, among others,  and
have not encountered the speaker catastrophe described below.   I suspect that
the speaker weight may be a factor, and the alnico 10's in a Bassman RI are not
heavy.  I would not bother.
