The great Al Fiore was born on this day in 1922. Al was the premeire chord
harmonica and spent most of his career playing with The Harmonicats. He
grew up on Chicago's west side and it while he was a member of the walla
Walla Harmonica club that he made the acquaintance of Pete Pedersen, Bob
Hadamik and Jerry Murad. The rest is harmonica history.

Blues guitar player Bo Diddley was born on this day in 1928. Diddley, like
just about any good Blues musician, can play some harmonica.
