Hi Bob and All
"Rufus" is the only Buddy Greene CD I've got so far, so I don't know if he
plays Chromatic on any others. But on Rufus it's all 10-hole diatonic in
second position. He's a very fine and tasty player and excellent singer
(sounds a little like a toned-down Lyle Lovett, maybe not). Outstanding
musicianship throughout. To my ear it goes like this:
KEY HARP
1) A D (second position)
2) E A (second position)
3) E no harp
4) F Bb (second position)
5) C no harp - really nice mando
6) C no harp
7) G C (second position)
8) G C (second position)
9) E A (second position)
10) D no harp
11) G C (second position)
12) Ab no harp
Glad to be back on the list,
Staggerin' Jim
