I really don't think you're going to get the volume you want from your amp by 
switching tubes.You may get a very little,but my opinion is that you're going 
to get better results with speaker experimentation.I'm not an expert in the 
field so I can't suggest a speaker to try,but I'm sure you'll get a few 
suggestions from others who are.The tube switching will change the tone of 
the amp more than the volume.I have a similar problem with my Blues Jr. I 
like the tone but I'd like to get more volume and I'm starting to look into 
speakers.Most guys are steering me toward the Weber's.Good luck.....Dave
