Doc,I'm not sure I know what you mean by bassman RIBM.I've heard of all the 
mods for them and stuff.I think if I do anything,I'll sell my RI and buy a 
Vic.I'm also a mic builder,specialize in Shure's so I've got enough mics and 
elements to last me till the dinosaurs return.Thanks for the input.......Dave
