Thinking back, it seems to me that a prime instigation to the use of a
harp in intro music began with the theme of the sitcom "Sanford and Sons".
BTW does anyone know who that harper was? When my son was around two, he
just loved that opening song--it was the first number to inspire him to
dance! So it was special to me, too, and I recorded it for him to play
anytime he wanted (and naturally, I still have it.) Yeah, yeah, I know...
all together now.....Aaaaaaww!

However, on "another" note, I guess it had to happen...harp music in the
background of Howard Stern commercials.....sigh.

Till next,
