RE: FAQ Volunteer

In answer to the suggestions by Bobbie Giordano and Chris Pierce:

Work on the FAQ is proceeding steadily but slowly. But I'm sure I'm going to
need some help on it, because I do not know the answers to all the questions I'm
thinking up (I am not really a harmonica expert, but I do know a bit about
editing etc.)

My plan is as follows:
1) Make a list of Frequently Asked Questions
2) Answer the ones I can answer with my own knowledge, the knowledge in the
cyber harp world and the info posted on this list.
3) Send the result of this to the list, together with the still open questions
4) Compile and edit the reactions to this into the FAQ.
5) Call the endresult the harp-l FAQ.

So I am (re-) using the existing information that can be found in the Harmoni-
Gopher!

And the reason that I wanted the FAQ to be limited to 50 questions is to really
keep it a *frequently* asked questions list. I personally don't like FAQs that
are very long. My philosophy is that FAQs are meant for beginners, so the infor-
mation in them should be compact, easy to read and not too detailed. If people
need to know more, they can still post questions on the list.
Having said this, I have to admit that 50 questions probably was a bit too con-
servative an estimate... :-)

Anyway, I'm continuing the work...
