New to the harmonica

I got a harmonica for Christmas as a half joke. I got into via the
blues, which I got into via Led Zeppelin (I read some of the archives and
this might not be very popular 'round here) Well I became the "proud" owner
of an Official Boy Scout Harmonica by Honer. What I can do 1) Play the C
scale 2) Kinda play "When the Saints Go Marchin' In" as directed by the
cheezy instructions (They all rhyme) I've got tons of questions but don't
want to bog things down here. 3) Various super-repetitive riffs some good
most bad and the good ones are forgotten as soon as the harp leaves my hand.

	1) I've seen lots of debate here on valves and how they allow you
to "bend" notes easier. From the context I take this to mean be able to
play sharps/flats. How is this accomplished on an unvalved harmonica?

	2) Any good resouces on harp playing? On music theory? My (very
musical) girlfriend is trying but I'd like to know more.

	3) How much should I spend on my next harmonica? Nothing fancy.
Ease of use, general sound quality and price most important.

	4) I've wondered through the Web page and archives and it looks
like there is no real Harp-L FAQ. Hate to be the new guy coming and yelling
at everyone but this seems like a real short coming. Is one in the works?

I've read for a week and this seems like a very nice civilized
"place". I look forward to your responces and learning more.
