Good question, Keith ! [but I hope it will be Harp-l not Har-l or Hur-l
FAQ ;-) ]

Bart de Boer has a nice 16K FAQ thing he put together earlier this summer.
He was going to post it for comments, but we on a small ad-hoc committee
(who shall presently remain nameless -- I'll take the heat on this one)
thought we should hold off since it was a tad basic and there was much more
that could be added. Nice guys that we are, we all got busy and it's been
on hold for two months. If you recall any of the earlier discussions, the
TOC/Index is pretty much as already proposed a while back.

Also, Randy Lilleston has a nice relatively new mini-amp FAQ on the
Harmonigopher and Cyberharp pages that points to an interesting amp/effect
page that I've only perused briefly, but it looks interesting. Others
interested in this may want to check it out or that put together by RGKeen
<RGKeen@xxxxxxx>. He posts it periodically to the guitar USENET boards and
has it sitting in Craig Anderton's SSS page on AOL (I'm not sure where
else).

And of course there's Jack's shortharp primer amoung a few other resource
tidbits (now I see Douglas's classical worksheet/database of harp-able
music is up !). I was torn to leave some of this as-is or to pull it into
a master set, that is, you may have seen others that put it all together
but in separate files -- part 1 of x, part 2 of x, etc. Each would still
be a separate entity, but then there would be a family of articles that
newcomers might feel compelled to download and a master TOC.
Comments/sugggestions off-list welcome.

FWIW, I have ~engulfed~ Bart's FAQ as the first of 3 or 4 installments
currently. The latter few borrow heavily from ya'lls' past posts, some are
abridged, but all are credited and pointed back to the archives
(name/date/subject) so that the ~search and rescue mission~ for follow-up
info is a little more efficient.

I take Keith's query as a prime motivator to wrap up what I have, and after
taking some not-yet-received advice from Chris/Hugh, I will post it in the
appropriate place (harp-l, harmonigopher, and/or cyperharp page) and gladly
solicit comments. My intent is to keep it updated periodically and perhaps
place it in various other places. Suggestions/comments in this or any
other area would be greatly appreciated (off-list also please).

Bart and I haven't talked about this, but he may want to post his 16K soon.
We'll be back to ya'll shortly.
