I saw the T-Birds about a month ago, at a free festival in DC. I guess 
he's doing his solo stuff and touring with the T-Birds at the same time. 
He said that they have a new album coming out and played at least one 
song from it. Gene Taylor, who plays on his solo albums and tours with 
him, was playing with the T-Birds.
