Taste of Chi. (warning: shameless plug)

If anyone is in the Chicago area this weekend for Taste of Chicago
(whaddaya think Blues Fest is the *only* fest in town?), check out Brian
Scott at the "Taste Stage" (at Columbus and Congress) on Saturday at 3:00.
Brian is a country-blues-rock singer/songwriter with some great stuff.
(He's playing as part of the "Country Fest" at Taste, but don't let that
throw you - his writing style is kinda like Lyle Lovett or John Hiatt.)

I *hear* he has a pretty ok harp player....  <grin>

Actually, it's kind of a breakthrough for me since I'm SO used to playing
and singing "Chicago Style" blues, and this is giving me a chance to play
some different stuff.

Anyway, if you are near Grant Park this Saturday, stop by and give us a
listen.   If you do, make sure to grab me after and say hello, I'd love to
meet others from the list.  (I'd also love to hear your critique of what
I'm doing - since it's a bit new for me, I'd love to hear from another harp
player....)
