Rod,
	Just got my first Wm. Clarke CD (Serious Intentions), and....therefore
I haven't heard Daddy Pinnochio.  However, I suggest that you use any of the
versions that you listed that you prefer, or better yet, do what I usually do
and make up your own.  As a former lead singer, I was constantly frustrated
trying to make out the words as I listened along on the old Victrola.  I
finally decided not to sweat it so much and make it up as I went along.  I
suggest that the comments from J. Hanson are a suitable reason for doing so.
After all, Dr. J.'s own band member(s) couldn't even understand what he was
saying in the song he alluded to, and this after probably hearing it many
times.  Enjoy the feeling.
