Mail-order sources for harmonica recordings

Bobbie Giordano asked for more tips on where to get harmonica recordings,
which I think might be a good thread for a while. Here are a few that
I know about (hopefully others will offer more suggestions):

Roots and Rhythm
6921 Stockton Avenue
El Cerrito, CA 94530
Phone: 510-525-1494
Fax: 510-525-2904

Roots and Rhythm is a great source for blues, country, jazz, world music,
etc., etc. Their bimonthly catalog lists their latest offerings, but they
also offer complete catalogs.

Elderly Instruments
1100 N. Washington
P.O. Box 14210
Lansing, MI 48901]
Phone: 517-372-7890

A great mail-order source for instruments (including harmonicas), recordings,
books, video tapes, etc. They offer separate catalogs for each category

The F. & R. Farrell Company
P.O. Box 133
Harrisburg, OH 43126
Phone: 1-800-438-3543
Fax: 614-877-1714

Every harmonica player should have Dick Farrell's catalog. A great source
for fascinating recordings by the best of the chromatic players like
Charles Leighton, Stan Harper, Blackie Schackner, and Pete Pedersen. A
lot of these guys have produced their own recordings, and Dick Farrell is
one of the few guys that sells them. He also sells instruments and
accessories.

Kevin's Harps
210 Farnsworth Ave.
Bordentown, NJ
08505
Phone: 1-800-27-HARP-N
Fax: 609-298-3100

Another catalog every harmonica player should have. Instruments,
accessories, videos, and recordings.

County Sales
P.O. Box 191
Floyd, VA 24091

A good source for country, bluegrass, and old-timey recordings.
