I have a Shaker. Steve Price and I did some amp shopping with it and his 
bullet. We were mostly playing through tube amps, but did try a few solid 
state. With some amps the bullet sounded better, and others the shaker sounded 
better. So, my opinion is you can't form an opinion about the shaker by only 
trying it through one amp. You might be surprised. I like it's size (for 
female hands) and the fact that it HAS a volume control. I can't remember for 
sure cause it was a while ago that we tried all sorts of amps, but we didn't 
have more of a feedback problem with the shaker at all. jen
