Cleaning harmonica?

Would a few good harmonica folks please fill me in on the methods 
used to clean and service the instruments. I have a few 10 holers, 
a double holer, and a chromatic. They're all pretty grimy and I 
suddenly realized I have never cleaned them and didn't know the 
best way to do it. 

Before anyone flames me for owning such dirty harps, please give 
me an opportunity to rectify the situation......
